HCP Terraform Gets Real-Time Infrastructure Intelligence: Infragraph Integration Now in Public Preview
Breaking: HCP Terraform Integrates Infragraph for Live Infrastructure Visibility
HashiCorp today announced the public preview of HCP Terraform powered by Infragraph, a centralized knowledge graph that delivers real-time, unified visibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The integration is available immediately for qualified US-based HCP Terraform customers.
“Infragraph transforms static infrastructure data into a dynamic, event-driven view,” said a HashiCorp spokesperson. “Platform teams can finally track ownership, security patches, and costs without manual consolidation.”
The Problem: Siloed Data and Growing Complexity
Most enterprises use five or more cloud management services, according to HashiCorp research. Infrastructure data remains trapped in silos, forcing platform teams to cobble together snapshots that are outdated by the time they’re analyzed.
“The cloud was supposed to simplify provisioning,” the spokesperson added. “Instead, it created new pain points—security gaps, unexpected spend, and no single source of truth.”
With attackers now leveraging AI to find vulnerabilities faster, real-time visibility is no longer optional. Legacy approaches relying on “dirty data” leave organizations exposed.
Background: Cloud Migration’s Unfinished Promise
Enterprises moved to the cloud expecting speed, scalability, and security. The reality: fragmented tools, manual processes, and reactive responses. Infragraph addresses this by connecting data from all ecosystems—servers, VMs, cloud services—into a live knowledge graph.
“Infragraph doesn’t just collect data; it updates continuously,” the spokesperson explained. “When a security patch is needed or a cost spike occurs, teams get proactive alerts, not post-mortems.”
What This Means: A New Era for Platform Teams
For platform teams, this means moving from static reports to dynamic infrastructure intelligence. They can now identify who owns each resource, automate security patching, and optimize costs in real time.
“This is the foundation for AI-driven automation,” said the spokesperson. “Once you have a unified, current view, you can trust AI to act on it—closing security gaps or scaling resources automatically.”
The public preview is limited to US customers, but HashiCorp plans to expand availability. Early adopters can begin testing Infragraph’s capabilities immediately through their HCP Terraform dashboard.
Next Steps for Customers
Qualified US customers can enable Infragraph within HCP Terraform settings. The feature is free during preview. HashiCorp is also offering technical webinars and documentation to help teams get started.
“We’re starting with visibility,” the spokesperson concluded. “Over time, Infragraph will unlock autonomous infrastructure management—making the cloud’s original promise a reality.”
